After nearly 15 years of pursuing the domain alato.com, we have FINALLY secured it! We’re beyond excited and wanted to celebrate this important milestone with all of you.
The story behind this is truly special. We first reached out to the domain owner in early 2011, trying everything from emails to phone calls and letters, but never got a response. Then, just three months ago, we connected with the German gentleman who owned the domain for 25 years. He told us he’d received many offers but never felt compelled to sell—until now. Ready for retirement, he agreed to pass it on to the next generation. And here’s the best part: the deal wasn’t sealed with money. Instead, he accepted an ALATO Arvet watch as payment. What a story!
