PRE-ORDERS

Pre-order – Important information

ALATO Watches is a small business driven by a passion for watches. Pre-orders allow us to develop and manufacture new models, but they also require a little more patience and administration than a regular purchase.

How it works

  • Full payment is made upon ordering.
  • Delivery time is estimated, not guaranteed. We will send regular updates and notify you immediately if anything is delayed.
  • Pre-order prices may be valid for a limited time. After that, the price will be adjusted.
  • All pre-orders are limited in quantity and may sell out.

Changes & communication

  • You can change your order within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Subscribe to our newsletter with the same email address you used when purchasing - we will ensure that you receive ongoing updates until delivery.

Delivery

  • Pre-orders will be shipped on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • When your watch is on its way, you will receive an email with a receipt, tracking number and delivery confirmation.
  • If you have any questions about delivery, please contact us. We will do our best to make everything go as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Shipping & customs

We ship 'Delivery Duty Payed' meaning VAT, duties and fees are handled by us in advance. No extra fees for you upon delivery.

  • All watches are mainly shipped from our warehouse in China.

Cancellation

Canceling a pre-order incurs a fee per watch, which will be deducted from the refund:

ARVET : 1,500 SEK/ €150 / $150

TIMESCOPE : SEK 2,000 / €200 / $200

The reason is that payment providers no longer refund their fees to us when repurchasing. In addition, pre-orders require a lot of administration. Instead of raising the price for everyone, we charge a fee only for cancellations or returns.

TAXES & IMPORT

Is tax included?

All applicable taxes are included in the price shown at checkout. Prices adapt to your delivery address.

Do I need to pay import tax, duties or tariffs?

No. We ship your order 'Delivery Duty Payed' meaning all costs are included in the price you see at checkout. Prices adapt based on your delivery address.

RETURN

How long is open purchase valid for?

You have 14 days right of withdrawal from the day of receipt.

Can I make an exchange?

We currently do not offer exchanges, but only returns apply.

How do I return goods?

Contact our customer service for more information on how to proceed.

Who pays for the return shipping cost?

Since we offer free shipping on all goods, we cannot be responsible for the cost of return shipping. The return shipping cost is payed by the customer.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

What delivery options do you offer?

We offer free shipping on all goods. All deliveries are made primarily to your home, directly to the door. We mainly use Postnord, YunExpress and DHL Express. The choice of distributor is based on your shipping address and what you order.

Do you get a tracking code and can follow your order?

Yes, all orders generate a tracking code. Upon purchase, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the selected agent's tracking service where you can follow the delivery.

How long is the delivery time?

Swedish customers
The delivery time is normally 1-3 working days within Sweden. If you ordered a watch, the estimated delivery time is specified on the product page.

International customers
Delivery time worldwide is between 7-12 days.

We normally process your order within 24h and ship out the first working day after your order.

Do you combine shipping?

If possible, of course. If you buy a watch and a strap, the shipping cannot be combined. They will be sent separately.

PAYMENT & REFUND

When and how will my invoice be sent?

When buying with Klarna Pay later, the invoice is sent via email. If you are missing your invoice, you can log in to My Pages at Klarna.

In the case of partial payment, the first invoice is sent by letter and arrives in the middle of the following month in which the purchase was made. For example. first invoice for purchases made in January, will arrive in mid-February.

I paid with a gift card and will make a return. What about the refund?

The amount will be credited to your account with us. The amount can be used to pay for a new purchase.

What payment options do you offer?

With us, you can pay with the following payment services: Klarna (Pay now, Pay later, Split), Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Paypal, Google Pay, Shopify Pay, Apple Pay, American Express, Union Pay and Swish.

COMPLAINTS

How do I return a product?

Contact us via kundservice@alato.se. Describe your case, tell us your order number and attach pictures showing the fault with the item.

How is my return processed?

First of all, the error is corrected and we cover the cost. In the event of an approved complaint and if a repair is not possible, you will be replaced with a new product, alternatively credit or refund

GUARANTEES

How long guarantee is offered?

Your purchase comes with 2 year of guarantee if nothing else is stated on the product page. This is your guarantee that the product will be free from faults and errors. You can feel safe and trust that we will take responsibility and help you out if any problems arise.
