There are certain decisions that feel bigger than they appear on paper. This is one of them.
We have now transitioned from a sole proprietorship to a limited company. ALATO Klockor is now registered as ALATO Watches AB.
On the surface, it's a formal change. In practice, it's something else, providing a clearer structure and a more stable foundation to build upon.
Since its inception, ALATO Klockor has been about creating watches we ourselves want to wear. Well-conceived in form, function, and feel. That ambition doesn't change, but the conditions for continuing to do so in the right way are now improved. Becoming a limited company allows us to work more long-term. To make better decisions regarding development, production, and future ventures. And to build a company that endures over time.
For those of you who follow us, this doesn't mean a dramatic shift. Quite the opposite. It means we can continue in the same direction, with more stability behind every step.
ALATO Watches AB is not a new beginning. It is a continuation. Done the right way.
